I’m on some Olivia Pope type fierceness status over here in my cream suit from AnnaFesta! I feel like I could take on anything those folks in Washington can dish out, hmmp! Ok, back to realty. How awesome is this jacket? This is the jacket I’ve been swooning about for weeks, and it feels amazing on. I can definitely see myself styling this a few ways. From pairing it with some slim fit pants to alternating skirts, and boots; it will be a staple for me this fall! I especially love the zipper detail on both the jacket and the skirt, which adjust to your level of scandalous!(I couldn’t resist)

Recently, I attended Lane Bryant’s preview of Isabel Toledo’s Fall collection. Her pieces are gorgeous and the attention to detail and the silhouettes are amazing! I got to meet the always fabulous Marie from The Curvy Fashionista and Farah from Estrella Fashion Report, best of all I got to try on some of the new pieces and meet Isabel Toledo herself! Here are a few of my favorites.
When I first arrived at the event, Marie was wearing this gorgeous dress and I just had to try it it on!
My friend Oylan fell in love with the Luxe Wrap Coat. Doesn’t she look amazing in it?! Ruben Toledo even snapped a few pix of her in it!
I was really hesitant to try this on, because Toledo last collection, while beautiful, did not fit pass my hips. Lord knows I tried for about 20 minutes to fit into one of her fitted sheath dresses from last season. I even went up to a 24, and still no luck. This time around though, I was able to slide into a 20 with no problem. the material feels reach, but has some give!
Here’s the amazing talent behind these beautiful pieces, Isabel Toledo. I told her that I love the new collection, but her dress is fabulous! Her reply, ” I designed it, and it’s coming soon”! Well, I will be the first in line for it!

Today is a cheat day, sort of! No, I didn’t go shopping for this outfit, but I did receive this top in my latest delivery from Gwynnie Bee! If you’re not familiar with Gwynnie Bee, they offer a monthly subscription for clothing rental. If you’re familiar with the concept of Netflix then you’ll understand how Gwynnie Bee works. I’m on their basic plan, which is one garment per delivery. When I return it, the wonderful people at Gwynnie Bee will send me another. As long as I keep paying my membership dues of course. Everything thing else I’m wearing is from boudoir!
I love the bird print on this top and the dainty bow, but my favorite part of this look is the clutch purse. I actually accessorized the plain black clutch with my chain necklace. I looped it around the opening flap, and latched it on the tightest link to secure it! What do you think?
