I’ve had an opportunity to collaborate with several brands, but AnnaFesta has supported Clothe Your Curves from the very beginning. So, I was very excited to chat with Anne Fanganello, owner and designer of AnnaFesta. Do you remember my recent Resorts Week travel series? Well each look featured a piece from AnnaFesta’s recent collection, Girl on the Move.
I’m wrapping up Resorts Week with destination inspired pieces by Annafesta, but not before we explore The Hamptons. I was a fan of the TV show Royal Pains’ first season, because it gave us a glimpse into the lives of the uber wealthy who lived there. When asked why people go the hamptons, a popular saying is, ” It’s the light”. The Hamptons is not just for the “elite” few, it’s an attainable retreat, and I could definitely spend a weekend there.
San Francisco is the home of the Golden Gate bridge, insanely sloped and windy streets, and my favorite, The Japanese Tea Garden. It was here that I discovered my passion for photography, which was easy since everything is full of the vibrant colors from the flowers, trees, and flawlessly manicured topiaries. I probably took a million pictures. No, seriously I did! AnnaFesta’s San Francisco collection and my memories of the garden inspired this photo shoot
Oh, let me not forget about the hotel! I’m a sucker for modern furnishings, so I’d probably go with the Hotel Monaco for my next trip. It’s located near the shopping and dining of union square while still being accessible to other attractions like Fisherman’s Wharf and the Mission District.
It’s day three of Resorts Week and today we’re in Boston(fantasy travel)! If you’re just tuning in, check out the other featured cities Dallas and New Orleans. Just to recap, this week I’m sharing some of my favorite pieces from AnnaFesta Spring/Summer collection while doing some fantasy travel. Pieces from Annafesta’s collection were inspired by cities throughout the country, and since I love traveling wanted to share some amazing hotels that I’ve either stayed or have dreamed about staying in each city.
I’ve never been to Boston, but I have friends who are from there and they’ve told me Boston is known for it’s bar scene. I don’t go out often, but when I do I want to go somewhere with a lounge vibe. Live music (or at least good music),yummy drinks, and great company is all I need to have a good time. Hotel Revere located near the popular Boston Commons has modern flare set among traditional and historic building. Their Emerald Lounge is where you’ll find their resident mixologist who whips up concoctions behind a glowing emerald bar.
I like to be comfortable when I go out! My days of standing outside of a club with 6″ heels are behind me. Not because I’m older, but because I don’t want to be that girl who’s struggling to make it back to the car at the end of the night. I don’t care who you are, but you can only do so much dancing in 6″ heels before you regret your wardrobe choices. If you can survive the night, than more power to you!
This is my first time in a jumpsuit, and I love it! I was sent a size 2, but would prefer a looser fit so would go up a size. Other than that; I love it! It came with a belt made from the same material as the jumpsuit, but I opted for this gold triangle accented belt instead for a bit of bling.
The jumper can be worn with the strap on either side, and the pin on the shoulder can be moved as well.
Style Tip: If wearing shape wear, make sure it’s closer to your skin tone, because it may show through the material unless you opt for less fitted look. Sizing up should eliminate that issue.
Yesterday, for the #girlonthemove Resorts Week, I shared my Dallas inspired vacation featuring a poolside look by AnnaFesta. Next stop, New Orleans!
New Orleans is without a doubt one of my favorite cities. My first trip was two years after Katrina, and I was inspired to go much in part due to my love of the HBO show, Treme. The culture, the people, the music, and of course the food always leave me wanting to come back and experience something new. So, it’s no wonder that I’ve been four times since.
I’ve stayed at a different hotel each time I’ve gone, but my favorite is the W French Quarter. I’m an artist at heart, so I love all things quirky and unique. The W has all of that!

If you’ve ever been to Bourbon street, you know it can be noisy from the crowds and street performers. And if your hotel room faces Bourbon street, it’s like the party is in your room…all night!. What I love about the W is that it’s 2 blocks from Bourbon, so you can walk to the chaos or retreat in their courtyard oasis. The courtyard features harem style, outdoor canopy daybeds, and sofas perfect for sipping cocktails from their onsite restaurant and bar Sobou, or a “Hand Grenade” or “Hurricane” from bourbon street. (FYI those are drinks!)
Yes, New Orleans is known as a “party city”, but it can be relaxing and luxurious too! Just check out the W’s Studio studio, which includes a private courtyard and Jacuzzi! Owwwww!

Styling Tip: The ribbon straps can be tied multiple ways. I opted for a one shoulder look in the first pix and tucked the ribbon into the dress on the side. You can also try it has a halter or double straps, so get creative!
